Mahavtar Babaji Cave...

Being an avid follower of Kriya Yoga, I have read almost every book related to it. In my recent book, I came across the origin of "Kriya Yoga" and Mahavtar Babaji. In "Autobiography of a Yogi", one of the world's finest books written by Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda, the evolution of Kriya Yoga was mentioned. I completed the book and suddenly developed a longing to visit Babaji's Cave.
Mahavatar Babaji is an ancient yogi from the Himalayas who is said to have an eternal body, who has retained his physical form for centuries…This Holy Cave in Dwarahat is one of the Most Spiritual Caves in Himalayan Region.
I googled everything and checked out for the routes quickly because I didn't want to lose a second.
Visiting the Cave
My trip started from Delhi where I drove to Ranikhet. I checked in at TAG Resorts Queen's Meadows Ranikhet. Throughout my journey, I don't know why but I had a weird restlessness. I couldn't sleep for the whole night and was waiting for the sunrise.
In the morning, I had my breakfast, and I asked the staff members for the cave's route. They told me that the cave is situated at a distance of just 2 hours from the resort.
From the resort, its around 90 minutes route to Kukuchina, after that, there is a really nice 50 minutes trek with an incredible landscape to the cave.
The cave is well ventilated and quite roomier to accommodate about 6 to 8 people who can sit comfortably and meditate. The place is full of positive vibrations and has an abundance of beauty of solitude and silence.

What Is Kriya Yoga?
Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda, in his book "Autobiography of a Yogi", explains that Kriya Yoga is the most effective technique for reaching the goal of Yoga: Self-Realization.
Kriya Yoga is an ancient meditation technique of energy and breath control or pranayama. It is also a comprehensive spiritual path, which includes additional meditation practices and right living.
Where To Stay?
From Delhi, you have to go to Ranikhet by road or go by train to Kathgodam, from where you can take a cab to Ranikhet where you can stay and next day you can visit caves which are 35 km away from Ranikhet. The most famous and preferred place to stay by disciples is TAG Resorts Queens Meadows Ranikhet.
Not only the resort let yourself soak in nature’s bounty, but the calmness and peace in and around the resort will awake your spiritual self.
